Peter Beck once said “everything that goes to space should have a Rocket Lab logo on it” and this tweet is a reminder of just how much progress they’ve made along those lines.
And then there are the numbers:
And while the numbers are impressive (and destined to grow significantly with the backlog and constellation work they have in the pipeline) it’s the pedigrees established by their acquisitions (SolAero, Sinclair, Planetary Systems, ASI) that really position the company so well and ensure that Rocket Lab hardware will always be found in missions like JWST and the Ingenuity Mars helicopter. It’s a model that doesn’t always attract as much attention as say a SpaceX, Blue Origin, or even Virgin Galactic but Rocket Lab is building something that will endure and and deliver incalculable impact as it scales.
